CAR PARKS

- four self-service car parks in close proximity of the historical centre (P1, P1r, P2, P3) with the capacity of cca 630 spaces which are in continous year-long operation and also car park P4 with the capacity of 80 parking spaces in the vicinity of Castle Garden (serviced and paid only in summer season)

 

Car park P1 ("Car park Jelenka")

It is situated bellow the northern castle wall in the meander of the Polečnice creek. It is the largest car park in Český Krumlov with the total capacity of 230 parking spaces (including the pernamently reserved spaces). In the car park there is only one arrival gate and one departure gate from Chvalšinská Street (road I/39 České Budějovice - Volary).

Car park P1 ("Car park Jelenka")

 

Car park P1r ("Car park Jelenka II")

It is situated in the vicinity of car park P1 - bellow the northern castle wall in the meander of the Polečnice creek. In the car park with the total capacity of 95 parking spaces there is only one arrival and departure gate from Chvalšinská Street (road I/39 České Budějovice - Volary).

 

Car park P2 ("car park bellow the Post office")

It is situated among the main municipal post office, brewery and the Vltava River. It is the second largest car park in Český Krumlov with the total capacity of 175 parking spaces (including pernamently reserved spaces). In the car park there is only one arrival gate and departure gate from U Poráků Street (turning from road II/157 Český Krumlov - Kaplice direction to the locality "Ambit").

Car park P3 ("Car park Municipal Park")

It is situated in the meander of the Vltava River between the municipal park and Children´s House. It is the third largest car park in Český Krumlov with the total capacity of 170 parking spaces (including pernamently reserved spaces). In the car park there is only one arrival gate and one departure gate from Linecká Street (turning from road II/160 Český Krumlov - Vyšší Brod at the crossing over the Vltava River in the direction to the city centre).

Car park P3 ("Car park Municipal Park")

 

Car park P4 ("Car park Castle Garden")

It is situated at the northwest edge of Castle Garden. A relatively long road throug the woods leads to the car park. It is the turning from the road I/39 České Budějovice - Volary  near the restaurant called "V Oblouku" (by the petrol station). The car park with the total capacity of 80 parking spaces for passanger vehicles is open from June to August and is serviced by an operator.

PARKING OF TOUR BUSES

The systém of parking of tour buses in Český Krumlov consists of off- and on-boarding area marked BUS-STOP located near the centre which serves only for shortterm bus parking to enable the visitors to get in and to get off the bus and central bus parking area P-BUS located in the suburb of the town.

 

Passanger off- and on-boarding area BUS-STOP

It is situated on Chvalšinská Street (road I/39 České Budějovice - Volary) after the departure of the town centre in the destination of Volary, Prachatice. It is the only regular place for the travellers´safe getting in a getting of the coach in Český Krumlov from there they can manage to walk to the town centre.

BUS-STOP terminaloperates year-long. During the day there is an operator.

The total capacity is 8 parking spaces and maximum allowed time for getting in and getting off  the bus is 20 minutes.

BUS-STOP terminal is in condition which needs major reconstruction. Nowadays the nearest toilettes are on car park P1 ("Car park Jelenka"), which is about 250 m walk to the centre.

Central bus parking area P-BUS

It is situated on Chvalšinská Street (road I/39 České Budějovice - Volary) on departure from the town centre in the destination to Volary, Prachatice.

The parking P-BUS is in year-round constant operation.

The total capacity is 34 parking spaces.

The parking P-BUS is assignet only for empty bus parking and it is not adapted for safe movement of great number of people.
